Anderson & Commonweal Internship Program
The Anderson & Commonweal Internship Program is a 10-week paid summer internship at the National Academies. Graduates of the Benjamin Banneker Academic High School (Washington, DC), Schools Without Walls Senior High School (Washington, DC), and the Paint Branch High School (Burtonsville, MD) are selected for the program based on their academic record and plans to pursue careers in science and technology fields.
Interns participate in a variety of activities, including data analysis, report preparation, and website development.
Interns may participate in the program for four summers, provided that they continue to make significant academic progress toward a degree in a field related to science or technology.
